The course will provide an overview of the properties, uses, economic and political factors, and environmental implications of nonrenewable and renewable energy sources. Some topics include: basic fundamental of energy and heat flow, coal, oil and natural gas, hydrofracking, renewable energy technologies, energy policy/politics, smart grids, environmental justice and much more!
