Patients from across western New York began receiving state-of-the-art care at a new Orthopaedics and Physical Performance Center earlier this year.
Formally dedicated in May, the building—located in revamped commercial space in nearby Henrietta, about four miles south of the Medical Center—represents the largest off-site capital project in the University’s history.
Part of UR Medicine’s long-term strategic plan to expand orthopaedic services, the center is home to the country’s first operating room to use a trademarked technology to control infection.
