Dressing Professionally
The difference in dress code between professional and business casual can be confusing. We’ve outlined some tips to help you dress for success.
Business Casual
A business casual look can include a suit jacket or cardigan, a collared or polo shirt and either khaki pants, nice trousers or fingertip-length skirt. Most colors and patterns are considered acceptable, and both flat and heeled shoes are fine. Jacket, vest and ties are optional.
Professional
A professional look can include black, white, grey, brown or blue outfits composed of a business dress or suit jacket with suit pants/skirt or slacks. Skirts and dresses should be at least to the knee. Dress shoes are encouraged.
