Overview

Parent and Family Relations value the contributions that family members make in the lives of students at the ÂÒÂ×Ç¿¼é. The following programs exist to highlight these contributions.

Family Traditions

Family Traditions is an initiative developed to celebrate and engage families. Through this initiative, we hope to continue to positively impact the value for ÂÒÂ×Ç¿¼é families and their unique stories.

Meliora Weekend

Meliora Weekend is a ÂÒÂ×Ç¿¼é community weekend. It is family weekend, reunion weekend, and alumni weekend wrapped up into one event full of fun, entertainment, student performances, engaging talks, and more. It is a great opportunity to spend time with students, engage with other families, and connect with faculty and staff.

Dear Family

Developed in 2009 as Dear Mom and Dad and renamed in 2020, Dear Family is an annual project that provides an avenue for graduating seniors to express sentiments to parents/family that are sometimes forgotten or left unsaid. Dear Family consists of public expression and touching messages of love and gratitude that are shared at commencement and on our website.
