  • Won letters in field hockey, soccer, and basketball
  • Starter 4 years in basketball as a quick defensive player
  • Consistently voted to All-Tournament Teams (1977 ÂÒÂ×Ç¿¼é Area Colleges Women Basketball Tournament) and awarded Tournament MVPs and Sportsmanship Awards on numerous occasions (Manufacturers Hanover Trust Tournament)
  • Voted Team MVP (1979-1980 season) and named UR Woman Athlete of the Year by the Campus Times (1980)
  • Played field hockey in 1977 and soccer in 1979 (where she was the leading scorer)
  • Received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and was Vice President of the Nursing Association

Post-Graduate:

  • Formally invited to try out for the New Jersey Gems of the Women's Professional Basketball League
  • Competed in the Women Athletes of New York Tournament and the Greenwich Village West Fourth Street League
  • Received a Master's in public health from Columbia University
  • Started out as a Public Health Nurse and eventually became Director of Nursing
  • Lectured on public health related topics including "Healthcare of the Pregnant Homeless" at the March of Dimes Conference and "Calculating Catastrophic Costs of Patients with AIDS" at the American Bar Association's national conference
  • Changed careers and now owns her own landscape design firm
  • Lives in New Jersey with her husband, Dave, and their children-Matthew, Julia, Craig, and Eric
