  • Won several ÂÒÂ×Ç¿¼é City Squash tournaments, individually in 1976, 1977 and was a part of the U of R team City Champions
  • Published articles in peer-reviewed professional science journals as undergraduate with University Miron Zuckerman
  • Published in peer-reviewed science journal undergraduate U of R Honors Thesis
  • Graduated with a B.A. in psychology, Magna Cum Laude

  • Has written over 150 articles and books on the Americans with Disabilities Act and related laws, receiving more than $15 million in grants to study disability law and policy
  • Board member of the National Organization on Disability, Disability Rights Law Center, and Disability Rights Advocates, and a trustee of YAI-National Institute for People with Disabilities Network
  • Practiced law at the Washington, D.C. firm Covington & Burling prior to teaching
