  • Earned freshman letters in football, basketball, baseball, and swimming
  • Lettered in football and basketball as a sophomore
  • Helped the basketball team to a 12-1 record in 1938-1939 season. The '38-'39 quintet was selected as the University's premier basketball team for the decade of the 1930s
  • Dove for the Yellowjackets under the guidance of Roman "Speed" Speegle
  • Left after his sophomore year to enlist with the U.S. Army
  • Commissioned in the field at Scofield Barracks in Honolulu
  • Completed his degree in economics and business administration in 1948

Post-Graduate:

  • Part-time coach of three sports at ÂÒÂ×Ç¿¼é School for the Deaf while completing his degree
  • Freshman soccer coach at ÂÒÂ×Ç¿¼é in Fall, 1947
  • Varsity basketball coach at Jefferson High School, 1947-1948
  • Worked in differing capacities at ÂÒÂ×Ç¿¼é School for the Deaf since 1947, including teaching mathematics, serving as guidance counselor, and administrative assistant to the Superintendent
  • Named school's principal in 1974
  • Inaugurated the BOCES Occupational Educational program in 1968
  • Membership in numerous professional organizations, including the New York State Association of Educators of the Deaf (NYSAED), and the National Association of Secondary School Principals
  • Passed away in June 2012
