Alexander Gaeta
'83, '85, '91 (PhD)
At ÂÒÂ×Ç¿¼é:
- One of 11 athletes to earn All-America honors in men's tennis at the University
- Won the NCAA individual national championship (the men's doubles title with Bob Swartout in 1983) and is one of just four athletes who earned multiple All-America honors (1981, 1982, and 1983)
- Received the Louis Alexander Award from the Department of Sports & Recreation in 1983
Post-Graduate:
- Was an assistant tennis coach for Peter Lyman while he pursued his doctorate in Optics
- Currently an Assistant Professor on the faculty of the School of Applied and Engineering Physics at Cornell University
