- Coached men's tennis for 42 years and squash for 44 years
- Under his guidance, the men's tennis team was represented at nationals every year-either as a team or on an individual basis-for 22 straight years
- His tennis teams were ranked in Division III's Top 30 every year from 1983-97
- Five were ranked in the Top 10, including a best-ever fifth in 1987
- NCAA's Division III National Coach of the Year in 1990
- 11 of his players earned 20 All-America honors
- Coached one national doubles champion (Bob Swartout and Alex Gaeta), one national singles runnerup (Scott Milener), and one national doubles runnerup (Scott Milener and Bob Hession)
- Guided the squash team Top 20 rankings, including placements of 11, 12, and 13 (NOTE: the squash team had about 2 or 3 rankings below 20 at the end)
- Presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the National Intercollegiate Squash Racquets Association in 2000
- Outstanding squash and tennis player in his prime
- Inducted into the Frontier Field Walk of Fame in Summer, 2000
- The University's newly constructed outdoor tennis courts have been named in his honor
