Anthony R. Palumbo

'74, '76, '84 (PhD)

At ÂÒÂ×Ç¿¼é:

  • One of only three individual NCAA Division III men's national champions in outdoor track and field
  • At the inaugural Division III Championships in 1974, he won the Triple Jump (with a distance of 49 feet, 11 inches) and earned All-America honors. This performance still stands as the University record.

Post-Graduate:

  • From 1981-84, while a full-time matriculated graduate student, he worked for Xerox Corporation as a scientist working in the area of xerographic photoconductors
  • Since 1984, he has been employed by Eastman Kodak Company as a Senior Scientist in the area of optical disk storage
  • He has published 13 papers in the areas of magnetics, photoconductors, and optical disk technology and received two patents
  • He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers
  • Member of Toastmasters International since 1986
  • President of Kodak Park Club #1491 and was awarded Toastmaster of the Year in 1988 from that club
