- A four-year letter winner who played sports year-round
- Lettered in football, basketball, and baseball
- Played left halfback in football and had a 70 yard TD run against Syracuse in 1908
- Scored 78 field goals during the 1909-10 basketball season
- Named to the All-American team in 1910
- Member of Delta Upsilon and graduated with a Science degree in 1910
Post-Graduate:
- Joined Bausch & Lomb Optical Co. after graduation, first working in the scientific bureau and then in the scientific instrument sales division
- Was assigned to production control at the B&L glass plant during World War I
- Promoted to Sales Manager of the Opthalmic Division and later in 1947, named Vice President of the division
- Also named a Director of the Firm at that time
- In 1962, he received the Stadium Club's Special Award in recognition of his performance as an outstanding basketball and football player during his undergraduate days
- He retired as vice president in June, 1955
- He passed away in 1972
