- An extremely-balanced undergraduate lifestyle which included interclass competition, freshman baseball, the Dramatics Club, the University Players, and campus media affiliations (Interpres, The Campus)
- Four-year member of the "Y" Council including a year on the Executive Council as a senior
- Class Secretary
- Graduated from the University in 1930 with a baccalaureate degree in Economics
Post-Graduate:
- Worked at Eastman Kodak Company for 43 years
- Retired as the General Manager and Assistant Vice-President of the Consumer Marketing Division in 1973
- In 1978, he was awarded the Lysle "Spike" Garnish Memorial Committee Citation for his long standing support of intercollegiate athletics at the University
- In 1979, he received the 11th ÂÒÂ×Ç¿¼é Associates Medal "in recognition of more than half a century of significant service" to the University
- Basketball tournaments for men and women are named in his honor
