Post-Graduate:
- Master's degree in education from Columbia Teacher's College in 1962
- Accepted a position as a physical education teacher at Harpur College in 1963, now Binghamton University
- Coached golf, baseball, and soccer at Binghamton
- In 29 years as the men's soccer coach at Binghamton, he made 16 post-season appearances (8 in the NCAA), won the ECAC title in 1972, and 6 SUNYAC crowns
- Retired from coaching in 1992 with a career mark of 259-126-43
- Retired as a professor of Physical Education and Associate Director of External Affairs at Binghamton in December, 2002
- Past-president of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)
- Served as Editor of the NSCAA's publication, Soccer Journal, for 22 years
- Received both the NSCAA's Honor Award-for meritorious service-and the Bill Jeffrey Award-for outstanding service in intercollegiate soccer
