- Had three letters in both football and baseball
- Starting quarterback on 1970-1971 team which went 8-1 and was nationally ranked
- Winner of Lou Alexander Award in 1971, presented to the most outstanding student athlete and Spike Garnish award for MVP in baseball
- Won MVP award for football backfield in 1970
- Captain of 1971 baseball team
- Pitched no-hit shutout that year against Niagara
- Earned a B.S. in electrical engineering
Post-Graduate:
- Started at General Electric in 1971 and held several management positions in GE Motors for 15 years
- In 1995, became General Manager Gas Turbine Operation in Greenville, SC
