Lisa Scopa Voit
'84
At ÂÒÂ×Ç¿¼é:
- Starting sweeper for Yellowjacket soccer team over a four-year period
- Co-captain for three years (sophomore through senior years)
- Second Team All-America as a junior
- Played for the Empire State Games team and several club programs during her undergraduate days and several post-graduate years
Post-Graduate:
- Assistant soccer coach at RIT in 1985
- Returned to the University in 1986 as an assistant coach and enjoyed a great run which included NCAA Division III National Championships in 1986 and 1987, appearance in the title game in 1991, five straight UAA Championships
- Coached on the club level simultaneously
- Moved to Portland, Oregon in July of 1991 where she played for various women's and coed indoor and outdoor teams over a four-year period
- Moved to Albuquerque, NM in July of 1995 where she played indoors and outdoors for a women's team
- Since August, 1996, has been living in southern New Jersey where she is currently training soccer teams and individual players as well as enjoying watching her son, Garet, carry on the family's soccer tradition
