William Weiss

At ÂÒÂ×Ç¿¼é:
- Played number one singles and doubles all but the fall semester of his freshman year
- Named co-captain of the team as a junior, captain as a senior
- In 1976, he was the ECAC Division II and III fall champion in singles while not losing a set in the tournament. In his run to the title, he defeated number one players from Temple, West Virginia, and University of New Hampshire in the last three rounds.
- Reached the quarterfinals of the NCAA championship in doubles in 1976
- Named the first tennis All-American from the University
- Defeated the defending NCAA doubles champions in the 1977 tournament
- Defeated the number one singles player from Penn State in 1977 and Cornell's number one singles players all four years at ÂÒÂ×Ç¿¼é
Post-Graduate:
- Has been employed by Moore Corporation (currently a division of RR Donnelly), the largest printing company in the world, since 1982
- Served in a number of different sales and sales management positions over the years
- Currently is a Senior Account Executive in the Moore Wallace BCS division managing and directing sales efforts at a number of major northeast financial service accounts
- Credits most of athletic success at ÂÒÂ×Ç¿¼é to his college coach, Peter Lyman who still serves as a wonderful role model today
