Albright Institute Fellowships

The Albright annually provides up to $330,000 in fellowships for students who will live at the Albright Institute and study a specific field in archaeology.

Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

Students who were diagnosed with hearing loss of 60dB or greater in the better hearing ear are eligible for a grant ranging from $500-­‐$5,000.

Allen Lee Hughes Fellowship

Individuals interested in artistic and technical production, arts administration and community engagement. Fellowship provides a modest stipend and is intended to increase participation of people of color in the arts.

Amelia Earhart Fellowships (Zonta International Foundation)
For  women  of any nationality with a superior academic record and a bachelor's degree in science or engineering. Fellowships carry a stipend of $10,000; 35 are awarded annually.

Accent on Architecture Community Grants Program

These scholarships are open to high school seniors and college first-years who plan to study architecture at a NAAB-­‐accredited program. Scholarship amounts range between $500 and $2,500 and are determined by evaluation of financial need information provided by the student and the school.

American Association for University Women (AAUW) -­‐ International Fellowships

American Center of Oriental Research (ACOR) Scholarships and Fellowships
A series of monetary grants based on research within the Asian continent. Fellowships and Scholarships vary greatly. Scholarships that accept applications from international students.

Amity Institute Internship

This internship program provides opportunity for undergraduate and graduate international students to teach their native language and culture in American elementary and secondary schools, colleges and universities. Students in the fields of American Studies/Civilization, English Language and Literature, and Education are eligible to apply. Award includes tuition, living expenses, and a stipend. Offered to unmarried students between the ages of 20 and 30.

Center for Neuroscience at the University of Pittsburgh (CNUP) summer fellowship

Ten-week program in which selected undergraduate students conducts independent research. Student recipients of this competitive fellowship will receive a stipend of $3,000 and also will be provided housing at no cost in a double-­‐occupancy dormitory on campus.

Cosmos Club Foundation Grants in Aid to Young Scholars

$1,500 to­‐ $3,000 grant to meet specific research needs not covered by other supporting funds (e.g. small items of Equipment). Applicants must be enrolled at an institution of the Consortium of Universities of the Washington Metropolitan Area.

CUNY CAP

For students enrolled or will be enrolled as matriculated students in a CUNY graduate program. Students must have received a bachelor’s degree from a CUNY college. Students will work from 15 to 20 hours at a CUNY college for a salary of $10 an hour, and will be eligible for a tuition waver of up to six credits per semester.

Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

*Students Traineeship The traineeship introduces undergraduate and graduate students to research related to cystic fibrosis. Trainees receive a $1,500 award, stipend and lab expenses.

Dissertation Fellowship on Peace and Security in a Changing World

This fellowship for doctoral candidates aims to support interdisciplinary research on the implications of peace and security issues of worldwide cultural, social, economic, military and political changes, and to support completion of dissertation on such research. Successful applicants receive up to $17,500 awards. Women and ethnic minorities are especially encouraged to apply.

Nationals of IMF Asian member countries interested in studying for their doctorates in economics in order to work in an international financial institution (such as the IMF or the World Bank) or in their home administrations.

For individuals from World Bank member countries to undertake graduate studies at any university located in a World Bank member country except their own.

Josephine de Karman Scholarships

A minimum of ten fellowships, $22,000 for graduate students and $14,000 for undergraduate students, will be awarded for the regular academic year (fall and spring semesters or the equivalent where the quarterly system prevails), paid through the fellowship office of the university in which the recipient is enrolled for study in the United States.

This scholarship is offered for students of figurative, realist, or representational sculpture. To apply, send a letter of application from the student, two letters of recommendation, 8 to 10 photographs of applicant's work, and proof of financial need.

Peace Scholar Dissertation Fellowship

Supports doctoral dissertations that explore the sources and nature of international conflict, and  strategies to prevent or end conflict and to sustain peace. Citizens of all countries are eligible, but must be enrolled in an accredited college or university in the United States.

PEO International Peace Scholarship

For women who plan to pursue graduate study in US or Canada universities. Successful applicants will receive a $5,000 award and one-­year tuition. Applicants must promise to return to their home countries and pursue a professional career.

Phi Kappa Phi Fellowships

Every year, the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi awards fifty-­‐seven fellowships of $5,000 each and three at $15,000 each to members entering the first year of graduate or professional study.

USA Today All USA Academic Team

This nationwide competition selects undergraduate students based on scholarship, academic talent, creativity and leadership. Student is asked to describe his or her most outstanding intellectual endeavor. The endeavor can be in scholarly research, in the arts, in literature, in community service, in public affairs. The endeavor must have been started during the student's college career and it must have earned some type of public recognition or achieved some tangible results. Winston Foundation for World Peace Fellowships
Winston Foundation for World Peace Fellowships support undergraduate and graduate students with an interest in cooperative security, conflict resolution, and disarmament. Fellows design their own projects, usually involving public education, media outreach, grassroots organizing, or another active approach to issues of cooperative security, nuclear arms control, conventional arms transfers, demilitarization, democracy building, conflict resolution, and the like. Applicants are expected to work full-time with a non-profit organization. A $300/week stipend is provided for the duration of the project, which lasts from two to four months. Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution Summer Student Fellowship Program

Open to students of good standing who have completed at least their junior year of undergraduate study with at least a tentative interest in the ocean sciences or marine policy. Applications are welcome from students in the fields of biology, chemistry, geology, geophysics, mathematics, meteorology, physics, oceanography and marine policy. The value of the fellowship is $2,660 plus a travel allowance to Woods Hole for a 12-‐week program.
