Community Ambassador
The Office for Residential Life and Housing Services leases four floors of the privately owned and operated Innovation Square complex at 100-140 South Clinton Avenue in ÂÒÂ×Ç¿¼é, NY. The Community Ambassador is an undergraduate student living at Innovation Square and employed by Residential Life and Housing Services to serve critical communication and community development functions between the residents, the department, and Innovation Square. The Liaison is an on-site point of contact for the student residents living on the 9th–12th floors of Innovation Square. The position is designed to enhance the experience and satisfaction of students living at Innovation Square on a housing contract with Residential Life and Housing Services. Only students currently living on Innovation Square's 9th–12th floors are eligible to apply.

Neighborhood Ambassador
The Off Campus Living Program, under the guidance of the Office for Residential Life and Housing Services, created the Neighborhood Ambassador Program in an effort to assist ÂÒÂ×Ç¿¼é students with their transition to off campus living. This Program assigns experienced off campus students to selected streets in the neighborhoods where UR students choose to live. Neighborhood Ambassadors provide a point of contact for the student residents on their assigned streets, provide access to community resources, and build community in order to ease the transition to off campus living. This program is intended to increase the overall achievement and satisfaction of students living in the neighborhoods adjacent to the University, provide a leadership opportunity for returning off campus students, and assist in building better relations with long-term neighborhood residents.
The first round of applications are due 4/15/2024 and interviews will be held 4/19-23/2024. Hiring will continue through the summer.
